Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly. Care for floors through specialized cleaning methods like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, or buffing to keep surfaces pristine. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while respecting their privacy. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and replenished as needed. Follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards at all times. Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in residential homes or commercial environments. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service excellence. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices. Experience with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics or linens. Knowledge of housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
