Job Description
Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning environments such as custodial, hotel, or industrial settings. If you are passionate about cleanliness and enjoy creating a welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you. Starting at 16
- 30 hours per week... As we approach summer the hours will be on the higher end and could reach 40 hours for the right person.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Handle and dispose of waste following proper procedures
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (2 years+)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and guests
