Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency, with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms to meet high standards of cleanliness. Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a pristine appearance. Change linens and make beds according to established protocols. Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within set timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
