Job Description

Best Western Red River Lodge is looking for Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort. Your proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional guest experience, fostering a welcoming and pristine environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, cleanliness, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced setting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces in immaculate condition Safely handle chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation purposes by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures Conduct floor care activities including vacuuming carpets and performing manual handling tasks for heavy lifting of furniture or supplies Maintain high standards of sanitation by adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols and industry best practices Qualifications Proven custodial or housekeeping experience within a hospitality environment or similar setting Knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care procedures Ability to handle chemical agents safely while complying with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is a plus Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards is highly desirable Join our team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and comfort in a vibrant hospitality environment! Pay:
Up to $15.50 per hour Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
