Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome applicants eager to develop their skills in housekeeping management and floor care. This position requires weekends. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities according to established standards Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, hospital or industrial cleaning preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for all guests and staff This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cleanliness and hospitality to contribute to a positive environment while developing their skills in housekeeper management.
