Courtyard Nashua Position:

Courtyard by Marriott Nashua is looking for a reliable and hardworking Banquet Houseman to join our Banquets team. As a Banquet Houseman, you will play a key role in setting up, maintaining, and breaking down banquet rooms for events, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our guests. This is an essential position that supports the smooth operation of events, requiring attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Weekends, Nights and a flexible schedule are a must!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the set-up, rearranging, and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring rooms are ready for events according to client specifications. Set up and maintain tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and other equipment needed for events. Work closely with the Banquet Captains and Event Coordinators to meet specific event requirements. Ensure cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after each event. Assist with loading and unloading event materials and supplies. Provide support for food and beverage service as needed, such as setting up buffets or refreshment stations. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to Marriott's sanitation and safety standards. Monitor and restock supplies as necessary to ensure events run smoothly. Respond promptly to any last-minute adjustments or guest requests during events.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods of time. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Positive attitude and willingness to provide outstanding customer service. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
