Hotel Housekeeper 353 Main Street, New London, NH 03257 $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the New London Inn. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the inn Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained following check-out. Perform daily housekeeping service upon request. Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal maintenance. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Experience Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial. Experience in housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
