- 35/hour A warm family in Bergenfield, NJ is seeking a reliable, capable, and warm Full-Time Housekeeper / After-School Nanny for a long-term position.
Responsibilities will include:
General housekeeping and cleaning Laundry and household organization Keeping the kitchen and common areas neat and organized Managing routine household tasks independently Preparing a simple, family-style dinner for the family Helping ensure the home is organized and running smoothly before the children return from school After-School Childcare At approximately 3:00 PM , the focus of the role will shift to the family's two children, ages 9 and 5 .Responsibilities will include:
Picking the children up from their nearby schools Driving them to after-school activities when needed Bringing them home and supervising them Helping with their afternoon and evening routines Serving dinner Caring for both the children and the home during this time The parents generally return home around 6:00 PM . From approximately 6:00-7:00 PM, this person will serve as an additional set of hands for the parents, helping with the children, dinner, cleanup, and whatever is needed to make the evening run smoothly. Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone who is: Warm and genuinely enjoys being around children Smart and capable Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Comfortable working independently without constant direction A good communicator Organized and able to manage household responsibilities efficiently Comfortable preparing simple, family-style meals Flexible and willing to help where needed Requirements Candidates must have: Conversational to fluent English-language skills At least 3 years of professional housekeeping and/or childcare experience A valid U.S. driver's license A clean driving record Excellent professional references Comfort driving children to and from school and activities Compensation & Benefits $28- 35/hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
