Housekeeper/Nanny

A warm, active family in Fair Haven, New Jersey is seeking an experienced live-out Housekeeper/Nanny to support their household and two school-aged boys. This role is primarily housekeeping-focused (approximately 75% housekeeping / 25% childcare), with responsibility for maintaining an organized, clean, and smoothly running home while also assisting with the children as needed. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, and comfortable in a lively household. Someone with a calm, patient, and adaptable approach is essential. Housekeeping responsibilities include daily tidying, dishes, making beds, cleaning and organizing, laundry and linen care, deep cleaning projects, and maintaining overall household order. Additional duties include grocery shopping, running errands, meal prep, and packing and unpacking for family travel. Childcare support includes helping with school routines, driving the children to activities, supervising when needed, and stepping in as an extra set of hands during busy times. The home has a pool and water access, so strong swimming ability is a significant plus. The schedule is Thursday through Monday, with coverage over the weekend: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM (Tuesday and Wednesday off). The family values someone who takes initiative, can go with the flow, and is willing to occasionally stay later or help with additional hours or an overnight with advance notice. This is a live-out position offering $40

Health insurance is not provided, though the family is open to a stipend for the right candidate. The family would like to have a candidate in place by June but is happy to bring someone on more immediately.
