As a Housekeeping/Laundry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents and patients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare rooms for new admissions by ensuring they are clean and in order, and all equipment is functioning properly Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, and other work areas Replenish bathroom supplies and dust furniture and equipment Perform laundry duties of high quality to ensure linens and personal laundry are hygienically clean Distribute clean linens to appropriate departments and maintain established par levels for the care center Attend all in-services as required by the

NJ DOHSS

Perform other duties as assigned to help assure patient/resident quality of care and quality of life

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English Ability to interact tactfully with elderly residents and their families Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred
