Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle custodial duties such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and public spaces. Operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively for optimal floor care and sanitation. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly to ensure facilities remain in excellent condition. Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation purposes, ensuring safe handling practices at all times. Support the linen department by managing laundry processes, folding linens, and organizing supplies efficiently for quick access. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning techniques. Familiarity with custodial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols. Strong manual handling skills with experience in heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with staff and visitors alike. Knowledge of facilities maintenance including basic repairs and industrial cleaning methods. Experience with custodial or porter duties in a hospitality or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided where necessary.
