Overview Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Housekeeping & Linen, Personal Clothing Aide, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you will ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment by performing cleaning, linen management, and personal clothing assistance with energy and precision. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive setting while gaining valuable experience in environmental services and custodial care. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, and facility spaces following established protocols for sanitation and safety. Manage linen inventory by sorting, laundering, folding, and distributing clean linens and personal clothing items efficiently. Assist with the handling and organization of personal clothing for residents or patients, ensuring proper care and confidentiality. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Use janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies responsibly while adhering to environmental services best practices for sustainability. Support the overall cleanliness of the facility by performing additional custodial duties as needed, including waste disposal and sanitation tasks. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning environments is preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and sanitation procedures essential for maintaining a safe workspace. Experience with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, or polishing is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols accurately. Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the facility. Excellent organizational skills for managing linens and personal clothing items efficiently. Previous experience in hospital or healthcare settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided as needed.
