Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Household Assistant / Housekeeper, Cook, and Pet Caretaker to join a vibrant household environment. Responsibilities Housekeeping:

Perform thorough cleaning and organizing of all household areas, including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common spaces to ensure a spotless environment. Restock household supplies and groceries. Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and ironing clothing and linens efficiently.

Cooking:

Prepare healthy, delicious meals tailored to household requests and preferences and dietary needs. Most prevalent meals are chicken, certain fish, vegetables, fruits and other vegetarian foods. Shop for the needed ingredients based on preference for organic foods and no waste. Clean the kitchen thoroughly after each meal.

Pet Care:

Provide attentive pet care including feeding, administering medication if needed, grooming, and engaging in play or exercise routines. Two large dogs ( labrador puppy and 3 year old golden retriever) and 6 cats. Training the two dogs to sleep in the same room together. Feeding dogs on regular schedule. and keeping fresh water always available. Taking dogs and cats to scheduled vet and grooming appointments. Trim nails and apply flea and tick medications as needed. Keep litter boxes and surrounding area cleaned Handle pet sitting responsibilities during owners' absence, including overnight in-home care in the employer's housing when required. Assist with pet training, dog handling, animal restraint, and understanding animal behavior to promote well-being and safety. Support outdoor work activities such as walking dogs, supervising outdoor play areas, or maintaining garden spaces related to pet activities. Communicate effectively with household members regarding daily routines or specific pet needs to ensure seamless coordination. Requirements Proven experience with animal handling, pet sitting, dog walking, and outdoor work play and work. Familiarity with dog training techniques and understanding of animal behavior patterns. Dog training certification is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed for household chores or pet-related tasks. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities for interacting with household members or others. Prior experience working with cats, dogs, horses or other animals preferred; veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience is a plus. Flexibility to provide overnight in-home care or extended pet sitting when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning routines and household management.
