Duties Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floor care by applying appropriate cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing floors, and using specialized equipment for deep cleaning. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety for residents and guests. Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously, creating a positive experience for everyone you serve. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure continuous operations. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling and training new team members in residential or hotel environments. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially within hotel or commercial cleaning settings. Experience with residential cleaning tasks such as detailed dusting, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and organizing spaces. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and using floor scrubbers or buffers. Familiarity with laundry procedures for linens and clothing in both residential and hospitality contexts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests to meet their needs. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required. Certification or training in sanitation standards or specialized cleaning methods is advantageous.
