Job Description

Full Time - AM and PM Shifts
POSITION SUMMARY
The housekeeper provides cleaning services for the retail location. The Housekeeper must have physical stamina and strength to perform all housekeeping duties in scope of work. The role is responsible for completion of housekeeping tasks to ensure standards of cleanliness, safety and customer satisfaction of facility. Additionally, the position will maintain a critical eye to maintenance needs and deficiencies, and report those to management as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports the maintenance manager to ensure satisfactory completion of housekeeping tasks identified in scope of work. Ensures housekeeping task lists and day to day requests are completed in timely manner. Promotes positive team environment. Performs all janitorial tasks identified in scope of work. To include but not limited to cleaning restrooms, breakrooms and offices, sweeping and mopping floors, glass and window cleaning, dust all areas high and low, vacuuming and extraction cleaning of carpets. Maintains trash removal from all receptacles. Operates Floor scrubber daily. Ensure supply inventory of paper products, restroom supplies, cleaning supplies and chemicals are adequately maintained. Monitors all housekeeping equipment is in good working condition and coordinate repairs with Maintenance Manager. Ensures appearance standards are upheld in regard to cleaning standards and Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD standards). Report daily to maintenance manager to discuss areas of opportunities or projects. Review scope of work and follows schedule of cleaning set by Maintenance manager to complete all frequency tasks. Daily/weekly/monthly/ quarterly and semi annual tasks. Respect and follow all safety and Risk Management guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous Janitorial experience, good customer service attitude, polite, engaging, and courteous demeanor. Choose an item.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Proficient in time management and attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers. Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.

The physical demands described here are those that must be met by an outfitter to successfully perform functions of this job. Regularly required to talk and hear. Regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling stooping, and crouching. Regularly communicating with others to exchange information. Regularly heavy machinery and/or power tools. Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc. Occasionally operate heavy equipment. Heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Starting Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $20.75
