Housekeeper

Housekeeper Sandia Senior Suites | Albuquerque, NM Sandia Senior Suites is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in a long-term care setting. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Position Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash as needed Follow infection control and facility cleaning procedures Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies in designated areas Handle soiled linens and waste according to facility policy Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs promptly Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and administrative staff Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift Must be able to work respectfully around elderly and vulnerable residents What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of a clean care environment, and treats residents with kindness and respect.
