About Apache Nugget Corporation The Apache Nugget Casino offers Northern New Mexico's newest gaming experience with full travel center amenities. Part of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, we've created a destination that serves travelers, truckers, and gaming enthusiasts alike.

EVS Attendant Job Description Position Summary:

The EVS (Environmental Services) Attendant ensures the cleanliness and overall appearance of the casino while maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests and employees. Additionally, this role includes cross-training and potential responsibilities to support Drop and Count Team operations, providing opportunities for career growth within the casino. Environmental Services (Primary Role): 1.

Cleaning and Maintenance :

Maintain the cleanliness of gaming areas, restrooms, restaurants, and other public spaces. Empty trash receptacles, restock supplies, and sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and floor scrubbers. 2.

Guest Service :

Respond promptly to guest requests for cleaning or maintenance services. Ensure public areas are clean, well-maintained, and safe for patrons. 3.

Safety Compliance :

Use and store cleaning chemicals properly, adhering to safety standards. Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues to the Facilities or Security teams.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED. 2.

Experience:

Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred. Experience handling cash or in a secure environment is a plus. 3.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Basic math skills for accurate counting and reconciliation. Physical stamina for cleaning tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs. 4.

Attributes :

Integrity and adherence to security protocols. Flexibility to perform both EVS and drop/count team responsibilities. Team-oriented with a willingness to cross-train and learn new tasks.

Work Environment:

Primarily works indoors on the casino floor and back-of-house areas. May require extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting. Exposure to loud noises, smoke, and cleaning chemicals is possible.
