Housekeeping

Summary of Position:

Perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths under supervision of the head housekeeper. Room attendants promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems. They should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/ service and the hotel's procedures/ standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Position Requirements:

Excellent customer service and people skills. Lead by example, be a team player. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with many personality types. Must be able to work weekends and holiday shifts. Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast - paced environment in close proximity to other feet. Ability to follow instructions, detailed - oriented, professional attitude is required and the ability to work independently.
