Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Breakfast Attendant and Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast options while maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and common areas. Your proactive approach will ensure our hotel remains a safe, spotless, and inviting space, delivering exceptional hospitality experiences every day. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with enthusiasm and attention to quality standards. Set up breakfast areas, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness of dining spaces, including wiping down tables, cleaning floors, and restocking supplies. Perform routine housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and sanitizing guest rooms and bathrooms. Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or furniture safely during cleaning or setup activities. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents and ensuring all cleaning equipment is in good working order. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently. Ensure compliance with hotel housekeeping management protocols, including proper documentation of cleaning activities. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners. Ability to handle chemical agents safely following SDS guidelines and proper manual handling procedures. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial tasks is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or setup tasks. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures readiness in urgent situations.
