POSITION SUMMARY
Provides a neat, clean and sanitary environment to the patients, residents, guests and employees of the facility in accordance with established hospital policy and safety/sanitation standards.
TASK LETTER CODE PRIMARY DUTIES
(Are the essential job tasks or primary responsibilities that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of an accommodation.
For example:
"DO" (action verb) + "WHAT" (object) - "Collects vitals from patients at the being of the visit according to clinic protocol". A Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepares rooms for new occupant; follows isolation procedure in isolation rooms. B Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms. C Removes soiled linens from work area and places in specified bags or containers and transports to laundry facility. D Dusts furniture, woodwork and equipment. Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms. Dry mops and wet mops rooms, halls, utility rooms and public areas. E Removes and disposes of trash and waste materials and cleans the containers in accordance with hospital policy. F Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers to buff, strip, wax and polish the floors. Shampoos carpet and furniture; Cleans vents, fans, and other equipment using vacuum machines. G Cleans fixtures, windows inside and outside, tops of window frames, door frames, light fixtures and high areas using a ladder. H Moves furniture and other heavy objects as required I Loads and unloads washing machines and dryers. J Assists with flat work finishing. Shakes out dry, clean laundry, folds for mangling. Works as a catcher and folder after laundry is pressed. K Sets up chairs and tables, etc. for special events and folds and stores them after the event. L Completes job duties within required timeframe, according to established schedules or workflow requirements following established protocols and procedures. M Maintains confidentiality of all patient/resident/staff information. N Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. O Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a EVS Hospital setting and/or experience preferred
