Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, or residential units, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in common areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and outdoor spaces through regular janitorial tasks. Execute floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal, landscaping assistance, and maintaining outdoor furniture or fixtures. Ensure proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items like furniture or large cleaning equipment to prevent injury. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth operations. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Hands-on knowledge of janitorial procedures, sanitation standards, and floor care techniques. Experience with laundry services and custodial tasks in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus. Familiarity with outdoor work activities such as landscaping or outdoor cleaning enhances versatility. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks with care. Previous roles involving housekeeping management or supervisory responsibilities are advantageous but not required.
