Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, sinks, tubs, and toilets with appropriate chemicals and equipment. Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and restrooms through regular janitorial tasks. Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and window cleaning tools to achieve optimal results. Follow proper manual handling procedures when lifting heavy furniture or supplies to prevent injury. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities to maintain health and safety standards. Assist with special cleaning projects like window washing or deep cleaning using pressure washing techniques. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality environments. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing or stripping is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices relevant to hospitality settings enhances your effectiveness in this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently is essential. Strong customer service skills are important for interacting professionally with guests and team members.
