Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve a pristine environment. Handle laundry responsibilities by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Restock supplies like toiletries, cleaning products, and guest amenities to ensure availability at all times. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning equipment, and janitorial practices. Knowledge of hospitality industry operations and customer service principles enhances effectiveness in this role. Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising teams demonstrates leadership capabilities beneficial for advancement. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all duties are completed efficiently.
