Position Summary:
As a Housekeeper you are responsible for the cleanliness of the community. Cleaning common areas and residents' apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, windows, and floors. Your contribution adds value to the service we provide by maintaining a clean and tidy environment. The Housekeeper must be able to work freely and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.Essential Functions:
- Performs routine housekeeping duties in resident apartments, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and emptying trash.
- Cleans and maintains common areas such as hallways, lounges, restrooms, and other shared spaces to community standards.
- Replenishes supplies in common areas as needed (e.g., paper products, soap).
- Safely uses and maintains housekeeping equipment and cleaning products according to established procedures.
- Observes all health, safety, and infection control guidelines.
- Reports maintenance issues, safety concerns, or unusual conditions to the supervisor promptly.
- Provides cleaning of residents' personal items or personal laundry only when requested and approved by the direct supervisor.
- Interact with residents in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner at all times.
- Performs additional tasks as requested by Supervisor.
