Full-Time Housekeeper / House Manager - Hewlett, NY A busy professional family in Hewlett, NY is seeking an experienced, highly capable Full-Time Housekeeper / House Manager to take primary responsibility for the day-to-day care, organization, and smooth operation of their home. The family includes two busy working parents and three children, ages 13, 12, and 10 . They are looking for someone dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable working very independently. Schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-6:00 PM There is some flexibility with the morning start time , provided that all household responsibilities are completed and the candidate is available through approximately 6:00 PM for afternoon transportation and household needs. Responsibilities This is a hands-on housekeeping and household management position.

Responsibilities will include:

Full housekeeping and maintenance of the home Deep and detailed cleaning Laundry, linens, and general household organization Keeping rooms, closets, and common areas neat and well maintained Managing day-to-day household tasks and priorities independently Kitchen cleanup and organization Some food preparation and light cooking Picking up the children from school Driving the children to after-school activities and appointments as needed Keeping track of household supplies and helping ensure the home remains stocked and organized The family offers a very independent work environment . They are looking for someone who does not need to be closely managed and can assess what needs to be done, organize their own day, and make sure the household runs smoothly. Because the family keeps a kosher kitchen , previous experience working in a kosher home and knowledge of kosher kitchen practices is strongly preferred.
