The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Mohawk Valley is seeking Housekeepers to join our team!
Position type:
Full-time evening shift 3-11 with every other weekend Pay rate: $16.00 per hour (with benefits) We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily housekeeping functions, including cleaning, washing, polishing, sanitizing, deodorizing, and disinfecting all areas of the facility and residents' rooms. Use proper cleaning solutions and techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment. Ensure that all equipment is clean, in working order, and properly maintained at all times. Remove trash and soiled linens, ensuring proper disposal. Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain confidentiality and provide respectful, dignified care to all residents. Follow all established health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Work under the guidance of the Director of Housekeeping to complete daily tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift, bend, and twist without restrictions. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety. Ability to lift up to fifty pounds. Ability to work as a team player in a collaborative environment. Solid work ethic with a commitment to quality and customer service.
