Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Residential Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of private home. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent cleaning skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Must have professional references, Background check and clean NYS drivers license. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas Conduct floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless Handle laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed Prepare light meals or snacks as needed, utilizing basic cooking skills Manage household supplies inventory and notify clients when restocking is necessary Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal and organizing cluttered areas Follow safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning Skills in floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation, and laundry operations Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks effectively A positive attitude, reliability, and discretion are essential for success in this role
