Housekeeper 318 East Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750 From $16 an hour - Part-time From $16 an hour - Part-time Job Summary Seeking a Housekeeper who will be responsible for general cleaning of the mall interior, public restrooms, exterior sidewalks, parking lot, trash removal, light snow removal and reporting any safety hazards to management. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disposing of waste and disinfecting high-touch areas regularly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Manage facility supplies inventory, restocking cleaning products and equipment as needed. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Experience with housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly advantageous. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with laundry operations is desirable. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively team members. Prior experience in housekeeping roles can provide valuable insight into guest-focused service standards.
