Paddler's Rest Lakeside Cabins and Motel is a small, family operated vacation destination with a growing customer base. Located in a beautiful setting located directly on Long Lake in the heart of the Adirondacks, we are within walking distance of the town of Long Lake. We are currently looking for motivated, reliable and dedicated staff to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented Cleaners/Housekeepers to join our team for the summer season. You will play a vital role in creating a clean, welcoming environment at our resort, ensuring guests enjoy a five-star experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean resort office and public areas: mop, dust, vacuum, and remove trash. Prepare cabins and rental units for incoming guests. Maintain cleanliness of rentals and common areas to resort standards. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed. Report any maintenance concerns to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. Assist maintenance and other staff with general tasks when necessary. Help clean up after resort-sponsored events and guest activities. Respond to guest inquiries professionally, courteously, and promptly. Address guest concerns or issues with a positive and solution-focused attitude. Operate a resort vehicle to run errands or pick up supplies when required. Foster communication and teamwork with management and other staff members. Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Must be reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license preferred for errands or supply runs.
