Job Description
Come Join Our Team! The Daughters of Charity, provides a safe, welcoming home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity Ministries. We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected. We are currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our Sister-residents, visitors and staff on our campus. This role reports to the Facilities Director. What You'll Do Maintain general building interior including all assigned spaces including offices, rooms, parlors and other Sister-resident spaces. Trash Removal. Perform commercial and personal laundry duties. Clean and sanitize non-public bathrooms. Maintain guest rooms for visitors. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the maintenance and care teams. They will consistently follow infection control, safety, and standard precaution guidelines while demonstrating strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks. The successful candidate will respect the privacy and dignity of Sister-residents, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times. They will be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedules. Previous experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment, is preferred.
