Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure pristine conditions. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards. Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to preserve their quality and appearance. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning is also valuable. Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service. Knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning equipment ensures efficient maintenance of various surfaces. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards. Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising staff (housekeeping management) is a plus but not required.
