Job Description
The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Housekeepers are responsible for the cleaning, care, and upkeep of assigned buildings or areas of large buildings in State facilities, including patient or resident staff living quarters, administrative work areas, study areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, and laboratories. As working supervisors, these positions perform cleaning and care tasks requiring light, medium, and heavy physical effort, requisition and distribute linens and household supplies, and supervise a staff of about three to five lower-level cleaning personnel.
