Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Guest Room Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for every visitor. Your proactive approach and dedication will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and contribute to a positive guest journey from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment. Handle chemical agents safely and in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) to maintain hygiene standards while prioritizing safety. Perform floor care activities such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all surfaces immaculate. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen supplies, cleaning equipment, and furniture repositioning to support efficient room turnover. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest and staff safety during any incident or evacuation. Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by performing janitorial tasks with precision. Document completed tasks accurately and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling procedures, and safety data sheets (SDS). Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Good communication skills and a positive attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Prior experience in hotel experience or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
