Overview Valcour Inn & Boathouse, an intimate lakeside retreat on beautiful Lake Champlain, is seeking a Hospitality Associate to help create warm, welcoming, and impeccably maintained spaces for our guests. This role is ideal for teachers on summer break, retirees, or anyone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking pride in creating a clean, organized, and peaceful environment. As a key member of our small, friendly team, you'll help care for our nine‑room inn, three‑bedroom cottage, and event spaces. Your reliability, attention to detail, and sense of ownership will directly shape the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Refresh and prepare guest rooms, including changing linens and making beds with care Clean and maintain common areas (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, windows, etc.) Manage laundry, folding, and linen organization Assist with light outdoor tasks such as watering and weeding garden areas Support event setup and teardown for weddings and gatherings Work collaboratively to ensure timely room turnover and smooth daily operations Uphold our hospitality standards by maintaining a warm, friendly presence around guests Qualifications Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift as needed Availability to work weekends Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person Must have reliable transporation Please apply by Sunday, August 2nd, by submitting your resume and providing current contact information through Indeed.
