About the Family A warm, respectful family in Sands Point, Long Island is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to become a long-term member of their household. The family has three children, each with their own dedicated nanny. Mom is a stay-at-home parent, and Dad primarily works in New York City and works from home one day each week. They are seeking a polished, proactive professional who understands the dynamics of a fully staffed household. The ideal candidate has excellent judgment, can "read the room," respects the family's privacy, and takes initiative without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of an approximately 8,000-square-foot home, including the basement, first floor, second floor, and a partial third floor.
• Perform detailed daily housekeeping and deep cleaning to the highest standards.
• Manage all household laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and proper garment care.
• Light ironing as needed (minimal ironing required).
• Maintain household inventory and ensure supplies are fully stocked.
• Assist with light meal preparation when requested.
• Run occasional household errands and grocery shopping as needed (Mom typically handles grocery shopping).
• Organize closets, pantry, storage areas, and household spaces.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining household organization.
• Provide occasional childcare coverage for one to two hours if one of the children's dedicated nannies is unavailable.
• Work seamlessly alongside the family's existing household staff while maintaining professionalism and discretion. Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeper in a private home.
• Experience working in large, fully staffed residences is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional laundry and garment care skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating well with other household staff.
• Comfortable around children and willing to provide occasional backup childcare.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
