Part-Time House Cleaner / Laundry Assistant Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented House Cleaner / Laundry Assistant to help maintain a clean, orderly, and well-functioning home. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, laundry care, changing and making beds, and maintaining an organized household environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows directions carefully, and can consistently complete tasks using a provided checklist. Responsibilities Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas Sanitizing surfaces and high-touch areas Emptying trash and replacing liners Washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and linens Washing and caring for bed linens and towels Making beds and changing bed linens on a regular schedule Organizing closets, drawers, and storage areas as needed Follow established cleaning, laundry, and household maintenance checklists to ensure tasks are completed consistently. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the household. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or laundry experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks from a checklist Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Able to work independently with minimal supervision Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting laundry baskets, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation to and from the work location References required Desired Qualities Trustworthy and professional Positive attitude and strong work ethic Takes initiative and notices details that need attention Consistent and thorough in completing assigned tasks
