Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our property to ensure a welcoming and pristine environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and comfort. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping management experience to thrive in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Care for floors by sweeping, polishing, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to maintain their appearance and safety Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces or special functions as needed Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies, changing linens, and ensuring all areas are well-stocked and organized Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them promptly Maintain cleanliness of service areas such as storage closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces Follow all safety protocols related to industrial cleaning equipment and hazardous materials Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles; hotel experience is highly desirable Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and treatment application Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently in an industrial setting Experience managing or supporting housekeeping teams is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to creating exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness and hospitality excellence.
