Job description Join our team as a Housekeeper at the award winning Masonic Care Community! Rates are $16.48 - $17.00 per hour. JOB SUMMARY
Full time 8-4p/every other weekend 7-3p 37.5 hrs/wk Cleans furniture, ashtrays, window sills, doors, frames, etc., using appropriate cloths and cleaning solutions. Follows approved schedules. Cleans employee dining rooms. Completes bed cycles according to schedules and standards. Cleans entire patient units on discharges and cycle cleaning. Dusts and mops floors. May use buffing and shampoo equipment Clean windows, stairwells and elevators. Empties wastebaskets and recyclable containers. Cleans nourishment stations according to schedules and standards. Cleans isolation rooms according to approved procedures. Responsible for proper use and maintenance of equipment. Cleans and polishes bathrooms and fixtures. Works alternate shift and weekends, as needed (per Union Contract). Cleans carpets/upholstery, drapes. Performs other related duties of department as requested by supervisor or department director.
Job Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent One year housekeeping experience in institutional setting desired. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

The position may be eligible for additional compensation not listed here, including but not limited to shift differentials, incentives or bonuses, as applicable.
