Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and using appropriate cleaning equipment. Conduct janitorial tasks such as mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, and restocking supplies efficiently. Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or cleaning equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Maintain sanitation standards across all hotel areas by adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols and industry best practices. Respond promptly to guest requests with excellent customer service, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, including safety protocols related to chemical handling and industrial cleaning situations. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles, with a strong understanding of hotel housekeeping management. Skilled in floor cleaning techniques, vacuuming, and general cleaning procedures using various cleaning equipment. Knowledge of chemical handling, sanitation practices, and safety data sheets (SDS) for safe use of cleaning agents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving furniture or supplies. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and industrial cleaning standards is preferred. Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
