Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques for different surfaces. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality to protect guest privacy and comfort. Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with hotel operations or custodial management is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy objects safely. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Effective communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and guest service.
