Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's rooms and laundry facilities. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the hotel's guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
  • Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers
  • Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms
  • Ensure that all areas are clean and tidy, and that all equipment is in good working order
  • Follow hotel cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the hotel management team
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to any guest requests or complaints
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in housekeeping or laundry
  • Knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures and protocols
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Skills:
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of laundry and dry cleaning procedures
  • Ability to clean and maintain hotel rooms and facilities
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and processes
