In this vital role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, perform maintenance tasks, and uphold high standards of hygiene and facility appearance. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance. Execute custodial tasks with precision, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and hygienic in accordance with health standards. Manage industrial cleaning projects that may involve specialized equipment or techniques for large-scale or high-traffic areas. Carry out residential painting touch-ups or minor repairs to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility. Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, or reporting larger repairs needed. Support porter duties including waste removal, restocking supplies, and assisting with setup for events or meetings. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience with residential painting or minor maintenance repairs is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures for large-scale facilities. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Previous porter experience or background in custodial services will be advantageous for success in this role.
