Housekeeper:
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas including hallways, dining rooms, and recreational spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform carpet cleaning as needed Clean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture, countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers Clean walls, windows, mirrors, vents, elevators, and stairways as needed Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies Restock housekeeping and sanitation supplies throughout the facility Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and clothing Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to leadership Support residents during mealtimes by assisting with trays and observing/reporting concerns Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines Maintain a calm, respectful, and caring environment for residents and team members Participate in required trainings, in-services, and team meetings
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 10th grade education required Must be at least 18 years of age Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare setting Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift (50+ lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Ability to read, write, and speak English Your Next Step Starts Here!
