The Meadows of Marion is looking for a PT night shift housekeeper to assist with the daily operations of the facility.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff member to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing a clean, organized, and comfortable environment while following company standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures. Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures. Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages. Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to supervisors. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from guests or management. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is an advantage but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25-50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
