Full-Time / Part-Time Position Summary Beeghly Oaks is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors while adhering to all state and federal regulations, including infection control standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas daily Follow established infection control and universal precaution guidelines Dispose of waste, including regulated medical waste, in accordance with facility policies Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and hand sanitizer Ensure floors are properly cleaned, swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and emergency cleaning needs Maintain cleaning equipment and report any needed repairs Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals (OSHA compliance) Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents and staff Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred, but not required Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control practices a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive wages Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time employees) Paid time off (PTO) Why Join Us?
