Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our hotel. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and spotless environment. This position requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently and safely. Duties Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and tidying spaces to meet hotel standards Vacuum carpets and upholstery to ensure cleanliness and freshness Clean and sanitize floors using appropriate floor cleaning techniques and equipment Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety protocols and guidelines Maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the hotel, including public spaces and staff areas Assist with manual handling tasks such as moving furniture or equipment as needed Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs, providing courteous customer service Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good condition and stored properly Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and staff Knowledge of proper chemical handling procedures for cleaning agents Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting Good organizational skills to manage multiple rooms or areas efficiently Reliability and a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction This position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of our hospitality team, ensuring guests have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during their stay.
