Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, bathroom sanitation, and replenishing amenities Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistent quality standards and proper documentation of tasks completed Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving linen carts, cleaning supplies, or furniture while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or room maintenance with excellent customer service skills Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of floor care techniques including chemical agent handling and sanitation practices Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and safety procedures is advantageous Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest safety at all times Join us in delivering exceptional hospitality by maintaining pristine environments that guests love!
