Job Description
The 81-room Holiday Inn Express is looking for a cheerful & energetic Housekeeper to join our team at this beautiful location! The hotel will benefit from a friendly, professional individual joining our Housekeeping Team. Responsibilities include cleaning & arranging guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival; performing laundry duties; cleaning & maintaining common areas; stocking & maintaining supplies; ensuring a high level of customer service at all times; assisting guests with requests as needed; and reporting all damages or repairs to management, as well as reporting all lost & found items.
Requirements:
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers Excellent customer service Solid references Weekdays/weekends/holidays Experience is helpful but not necessary Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas. Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas. Replenish room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and tissues. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors. Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures. Ensure rooms meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards. Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously. Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies. Required Skills Attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
