Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained. Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean. Manage housekeeping tasks in both hotel and residential settings, adhering to established standards of cleanliness. Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with meal preparation or cooking when necessary, contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents or guests. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
