Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless and safe flooring throughout the property. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and minibar items to meet guest needs efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly. Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of carpets or upholstery. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while performing custodial tasks, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service delivery. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in various settings. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
